Once client's financial situation is understood, ideally
through a financial plan encompassing retirement, estate issues that reflect financial and
other life goals, our Investment Services can begin.
We believe in "managed money" that is, using
mutual funds, and utilizing 8-12 of the best money managers available, each looking after
8-12% of a portfolio. Wherever feasible we sell funds on a "front end" basis
with zero commission. Our remuneration is derived solely from trailer fees paid directly
from fund companies. This approach provides clients with maximum flexibility and an
effective fee structure.
We first assess a client's risk and objectives and
determine the appropriate breakdown between fixed income and equities. Then an appropriate
portfolio is developed and discussed with the following breakdown to demonstrate its
diversification.
